PASTURE RAISED REGISTERED BULLS AND HEIFERS

Knox Brothers Land and Cattle, a 13,300 acre cattle ranch in Tennyson, Texas, has accomplished what sometimes takes decades. Through the aggressive program of selection, purchasing, A.I. and ET breeding, the ranch has developed quality, noteworthy Angus and Hereford herds serving buyers who are mostly commercial cattle raisers. From each group, the ranch yearly markets more than 100 registered bulls and heifers. 

Knox Brothers focus is putting together a bull that works best as a commercial herd sire. We strive for bulls that are low birthweight, high growth bulls. We don't breed for the show ring; we breed for the pastures. The ranch runs about 200 Hereford brood cows and 200 Angus females, confined separately, and all registered breeding stock, producing replacement heifers and breeding bull prospects.
